The sunrise was beautiful. We did not know (who would though) that there would be controlled burns so it was Smokey during our time (one month ago) the rooms were cool and unique and it had classic safari vibes. I liked the long walk to places and the mix of tent and stone. It was a great stay with great service 🙌
I really suggest Mbalageti Luxury Camp…It was magic! You are immersed with a fantastic view into the Serengeti National Park and you can see all kind old animals from the terrace. The lodge is truly an exclusive place, the personnel is extremely nice and professional, the food is fantastic! For our last night, they organized an excellent BBQ… We felt like at home!
I had a great stay here. Kind hosts (Simone and his staff) who are very willing and able to provide you with a lot of information about Stone Town, but also about the rest of Zanzibar. The WiFi is good. Cool design. Location is very central. I could leave a bag there, whilst exploring the rest of the island. So I very much appreciated my stay here!
Our stay at the Siringit migration camp was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had.
We felt truly immersed in the safari experience, surrounded by wildebeests, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife. The tents were ultra-luxurious with comfortable beds, spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. Every meal was three courses and absolutely incredible. The staff were able to accommodate any and all dietary restrictions. The evening campfire (charmingly referred to as “bush TV”) was a great way to meet other travelers and interact with the Camp staff.
The best part of the Siringit Camp experience was by far the staff. We did our safaris through the Camp, and our guide Tito was so friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. Our dedicated staff member in the Camp, Peter, made a genuine effort to get to know us, and went out of his way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Every member associated with the Siringit organization - from drivers to wait staff to guides to management - seemed genuinely invested in sharing their love for the Serengeti and ensuring we had a good experience. From the time we arrived in Tanzania, we were taken care of by the Siringit crew. We would not hesitate to recommend this organization to anybody.

Highly recommended! Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Value for money is good. Service was great from the entire staff, but most especially from Simon. That man is incredible—in all my travels I have never met a hospitality worker who takes such good care of his guests. The information which he shared when we first arrived was worth more than the cost of the room! Breakfast is not included, but they sell vouchers for breakfast at the nearby Stone Town Cafe. (I recommend having breakfast at Stone Town Cafe at least once. Unlike many other establishments frequented by tourists, they serve Zanzibari style coffee or spiced tea with your breakfast.) Finally, the location of Stone Town House is very good for touring Stone Town.
