Fantastic place to shop! They have a good variety of vendors so there's something for everyone here, whether it's clothes, jewelry, home decor, etc. Everything is very reasonably priced too. I always find something I like each time I go. Definitely a must see in Whiteville!

I am so impressed with the transformation that the Owners of Mercantile on Madison have made with the former Leder Bros department store in Whiteville, NC. This offers crafters, bakers and boutique owners a Brick & Mortar location in a very Classy, Neat & Friendly environment. The majority of the Booth Renters as well as the owners are multiethnic female owners. Cheers to the Whiteville community on revitalizing their City and to great Business Owners willing to take the leap downtown and offer multiple job opportunities like Mercantile on Madison has. If you have not visited them yet, you are missing out🥰

This is a beautiful Store. I got my Granddaughter the prettiest hair band. I can't wait to go back soon and find more goodies and gifts👍❣😊

I went to this location and when I say I will never go back , I mean just that. I see that the color of your skin defines the products that you purchase. I was looked at as if I was wearing a mask and hoodie about to rob the place. When I asked a question the owner was snappy and rude. I was around 3 other women (white women) and she offered them candy but didn’t think to offer me anything. I will continue shopping at the boutique down the street !
