Great drive both uphill and downhill to the summit at 14,000+ feet, a lot of wildlife, weather can change within minutes so be come prepared, saw 1 car denied entrance (assuming without a reservation) as all reservations were full for the day
Awesome drive and short hike to the peak.
if you like being high up and seeing mountains and the occasional animals, great place to stop. Plus you might get to hike a little and find some snow left over.
only 17 for a vehicle to get in. After 6pm, it is for free.
Easiest 14'er you'll ever hike!
Couple of notes: 1) get a reservation (they started this last year) 2) it costs $17 3) it can get cold (was hovering around freezing midday the day we went in August) 4) if you are coming from lower elevation, and you can swing it, you should probably make the trip up here after you have climate to Denver elevation for a day or two.

Road kind of bumpy with lots of holes, not ideal for motorcycles but doable

Amazing experience. Saw goat, sheep, marmot, lots of wild flowers, and incredible vistas.
In my 13 amd half years of traveling life, this was for sure one of the most beautiful road trip
