NY Ferry Waterway, what can I say about the ferry. It’s very convenient. Even though rides are expensive at nine dollars for single trip. It is lovely to go to the city by ferry, it is such a pretty and short trip. However the ferries themselves are sad little rust buckets. The staff are dower, sullen and often rude. Over three hundred dollar for a monthly pass and that’s the level of service? Restrooms that are always, always out of service. I saw for weeks and weeks during the late spring and early summer they would not allow people to go on the upper deck, even on beautiful days. There needs to be an overhaul and urgent customer service training for the employees.

El ferry es un paseo Gratis! Fácil de llegar a la estación del ferry. Salen a cada ratito. Ferry amplio y limpio. Hermosas vistas. Al llegar te bajas y te tomas otro ferry que te lleva de vuelta. Todo bárbaro. Un paseo divino! Se ve muy bien la estatua y toda la ciudad. Aprovechalo

Awesome experience during first visit to New York City. We were driving from Canada and didn't want to park in the city. Parking at Port Imperial was easy, clean and secure. Only paid $20/day. The ferry ride was a nice way to enter the city and only took 10 minutes with. Connecting bus that got us within walking distance of our hotel. Great option if you are looking to avoid the hassle and cost of driving and parking in Manhattan!
