Coney Island on a Friday night is truly a magical experience, pulsating with vibrant energy and eclectic charm. Nestled in Brooklyn, it offers a rich tapestry of sights, sounds, and flavors, representing the diverse and dynamic spirit of New York City. The historic Luna Park envelops visitors in a world of excitement, with its colorful rides, games, and the iconic Cyclone roller coaster creating a sense of nostalgia and joy for all ages.

As night descends, the boardwalk comes alive with locals and tourists alike, exploring the myriad of food stalls, each wafting tantalizing aromas of savory treats and sweet delights. Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs stands out, offering a taste of authentic New York, with their juicy, flavorful hot dogs and crispy, golden fries.

The sands of Coney Island Beach offer a serene contrast to the lively surroundings, allowing for tranquil moments under the shimmering city lights. Whether you're immersing yourself in the dazzling amusements or simply soaking in the ocean breeze, Coney Island on a Friday night is a sensational experience, merging amusement and relaxation into a singular, unforgettable journey. It is a true testament to the enduring allure of Brooklyn's cultural landscape.
Luna Park has some cool pumpkin 🎃 picking and decorating activities. The park is decorated with pumpkins all over and there are new rides. There is food and places to sit. My visit was fun.
What can I say if you can fit it into your New York to-do list? Do it!! 45 minutes one subway train from Times Square straight to Luna Park and the boardwalk with some amazing eateries, beautiful beach I couldn't believe I was still in New York grab a hotdog from Nathans and a beer and a Lobster roll from Paul's Daughters and then explore. Luna Park has small rides for the kids and bigger rides and roller coasters for the grown ups.
Fun park! The rides were better than expected however a few of them require separate tickets which isn't their fault but still a bit unfortunate. A little pricey considering the size but overall it's a nice experience and I'd go again.
A variety of rides on the boardwalk at Coney Island. Really a collection of small parks not always directly accessible from one to the other so it can be a little confusing. We got wristbands via a New York Pass which excluded a few of the bigger rides like the Cyclone, but there's still enough for all ages from preschoolers upwards. You can pay for the bigger rides as well if you wish. The wheel was a separate park and wasn't on when we visited, but the weather had been poor all day before our early evening visit. There was supposed to be fireworks on Friday evening but these hadn't materialised by the time we left just after 10, again maybe weather related.

All parts of the park are accessible from the boardwalk and a stroll up and down is a nice way to break up the rides. Very vibrant and busy in the evening and a good selection of food and drink outlets if you want to eat or just sit and watch. Really good 3 or 4 hours as an option, slightly off the main NYC tourist trail.
Der 2. Universal Park in Orlando.
Für jeden was dabei.
