If I could give this restaurant a minus 1, I would.
My friend and I came to this restaurant after the flight because it is located in the center and has good reviews. What a disappointment I was after visiting this restaurant.
We weren't particularly hungry, so we ordered nachos and chicken wings. The waitress offered us a choice of Asian or Buffalo sauce for the wings. I said I couldn't eat Buffalo because it was too spicy, so I asked for Asian.
They brought us food, my friend bit one piece of chicken wing and started telling me that they were very spicy. I, in order to make sure that there was a mistake in our order, also tried it and it was Buffalo sauce, which you can't confuse with anything.
I asked the waitress to change the wings because it was not the sauce we ordered. She took the plate away, came back empty-handed and said that they have this Asian sauce. I asked again, maybe they add Buffalo sauce to the Asian sauce, but she said no. I asked to bring two different sauces to try. And then I saw this Asian sauce for the first time, it is different in color and taste and it contains black sesame. I try both sauces. I say that I feel the difference. That they brought us wings with Buffalo sauce.
She took the sauces and after some time brought us the plane wings with Buffalo sauce on the side.
I asked her if it was a joke and asked her to bring the second sauce again which was different from this one. She brought the second Buffalo sauce again.
In the end the manager came up to us and started telling us the same thing, that this is their Asian sauce. I offered both the waiter and the manager to try this buffalo sauce in my presence and then tell me again that it is still an Asian sauce. I understand that everyone can make mistakes. And the waiters, when they enter the order into the system and the cooks in the kitchen. But if you made a mistake, then you don’t need to make a fool out of the customer, it’s enough to just correctly redo the dish and say that you made a mistake. Moreover, they tried to pay us with a card twice, without removing these wings from the check that we never ate. Only when I asked to print the check, and not show it to me electronically and showed the waitress on the calculator that we were being forced to pay for food that we did not eat due to a mistake by the restaurant, she removed them from the check.
I will repeat once again that there can be mistakes everywhere. We are all human. But I hate it when people try to deceive me. I am attaching a photo so that you can see that these are Buffalo wings. Unfortunately, in my emotions I forgot to take a photo of other sauces.

I was very surprised of this place! I thought because the restaurant is on Michigan Ave that it would be a tourist trap with food being okay but I was wrong. I ordered the southwest wrap and it was so flavorful. Plus they made it spicy which I loved that they didn’t skimp out on. Service was speedy too. Definitely coming back!

Maricio was phenomenal! The food was delicious, he brought us a dessert when he found out we were here for our anniversary. Music was all upbeat and they had sports on all the tvs. Loved it. Fav place in Chicago!

Oooooooohhhhh my goodness!!! What is there NOT TO SAY ABOUT this place! The service was fast, our Server was Alex and he was amazing!

Excellent customer service. I see it flows from the Top Down. The Manager Rafael & his team went out their way to accommodate us just and hour before closing. We initially ordered our food online. Upon arrival I wanted to stay. He and his team went into action without complaint. It was 2300 and they close at Midnight.
The food was delicious. We enjoyed the Gochujang Wings, Thai Chicken & Rice & The Sweetwater Chopped.
The next day for Brunch our server was Havana. She provided awesome service. We enjoyed the Hnagover Bowl, Breakfast Flatbread, Tropical Mismosa, Strawberry Soothe & complimentary Peanut Butter Snickers Pie decorated with strawberries as Roses and Happy Anniversary in Chocolate!!! They know how to make a couple feel special.
Overall great dining experiences. Highly recommend. Plenty bang for your buck, clean& comfortable seating both indoor and out.

An absolute vibe, this place! I really enjoyed myself. Food was very satisfying. For my drink, I ordered a spicy margarita very exceptional. I tasted the casamigo very well! The bang bang shrimp for an appetizer was phenomenal the best thus far. For my entree, I had fish tacos with a side of French fries. I enjoyed this too, hot n' fresh and very tasteful. The view is beautiful! I highly recommend this spot!

Sweetwater Tavern & Grille offers friendly and prompt service. Delicious food (we had drinks, enjoyed the Poke protein bowl and a steak). Very popular location - great for "people watching" when seated outside. Nice dinner for two came in around 95 bucks (tip included). Highly recommended.

Great food, great service, staff was very friendly and attentive. I would like to personally thank the guy who was working on the front counter for accommodating us because it was their closing time and still he accepted us and didn’t bother us to pay or to leave the premises. We took our time to enjoy our meal. Special thanks ☺️ to our server Eliana.

Love this place

Essential New York experience. Manhattan Clam Chowder was delicious, Crab Cake was crab-filled and fluffy, and the oysters were fresh. The best seating area is to the left where the bar and circular white tables are.

백종원님의 프로그램에 소개되서 가봤습니다. 혹시 몰라서 opentable로 미리 평일 오후 12시쯤 예약했는데, 굳이 할 필요는 없었습니다. 자리 엄청 많았음. 들어가면 왼쪽이 테이블이고 오른쪽이 bar 였는데, 간단히 드실거라면 오른쪽인 bar 로 가시는걸 추천한다고 합니다. 갔더니 서버분께서 오이스터 과자랑 물을 주셨어요. 주문은 맨하탄 글램차우더, 블루포인트 2ps를 포함한 총 8피스의 굴 (나머지 6ps는 쉐프 추천), 그리고 칵테일을 주문했습니다. 굴은 신기한게 진짜 한국 굴이랑 좀 다르게 비리지가 않았어요. 물론 바다맛이 강한 메뉴가 있긴하지만, 확실히 다르긴 달랐습니다. 글램차우더는 그냥 토마토 스프같은 느낌이었어요. 그리고 칵테일은 굴이랑 아주 잘 어울려서 같이 주문하는거 추천드립니다. 계산은 해달라고하면 카드나 현금 드리면 서버분께서 계산하시고 와주십니다. 팁은 %를 선택할 수 있는데, 16,18,20% 이렇게였던걸로 기억합니다. 뉴욕에 왔다면 한 번 쯤 먹어볼만한 메뉴라고 생각합니다 !

Definitely a bit of a touristy spot but it is worth trying out. Already it is meaningful that we can grab a glass of wine and seafood in the historical restaurant. Don't expect great service, amazing foods or anything, but if we could enjoy the hustling bustling atmosphere and beautiful architecture of the space, then that'd be enough.

I go mostly when my kid is sailing or at the HRCS Boathouse. The food is excellent and the view of the River is nice. If you are sensitive to the barge moving it might not be a great fit because the barge does move with the tide and wake of larger boats that pass by.

The food is delicious but because of the location it can be windy out and if you are not careful things can blow off the table and in the river which I observed a few times at adjacent tables. It could use some heavy weight objects at a table to hold down napkins etc.

I enjoy the Lobster PLT.

각 산지별 생굴을 고를 수 있는데, 사실 맛의 차이를 명확하게 인지하기는 어렵습니다.
그래도 신선하고 맛이 좋았습니다.
Arctic char라는 숭어와 연어 사촌격 물고기의 경우 잘 구워져서 맛있습니다.
디저트의 경우 치즈케이크와 라임파이가 맛있었지만, 홈메이드 같아 보일지는 약간 의문이긴 했습니다.

This place is a fantastic American 🇺🇲 restaurant! 🍴 The Frying Pan 🍳 is an iconic boat 🚢 docked on the Hudson River 🌊 that offers a wonderful selection of delicious 🤤 burgers 🍔, sandwiches 🥪, salads 🥗, seafood 🦞, oysters 🦪 and more alongside nice drinks 🥤 - definitely try the Fried ♨️ Chicken 🐔 Sandwich with Fries 🍟 and The Chelsea cocktail 🍹 (has vanilla, cinnamon, and coffee ☕)! The staff 👨‍🍳 is super friendly and welcoming, service is quick ⏲️, the place is beautifully decorated 🛋️, the ambience 🎶 is fantastic, and the view 🪟 of the water 💦 and city 🏙️ is incredible! They have plenty of seating 🪑 across the boat ⛵ and pier and accept walk-ins. 🚶 I wish I came here more often!

First off this place is a place to go for the views. The NYC views. It looks so beautiful when the sun is going down. There is a reservation spot up on the roof which can be romantic. Other than that its self serve. The lobster roll is one of the best ones I've had in NY so far. Chicken sandwich is a hit or miss. And the fish tacos are flavorful and not fishy. The helicopter tour is right next to it so you will be interrupted by helicopters landing and taking off

We had the boat to ourselves it seemed. The ambience was so pleasant we stayed for hours watching the sky darken, as night fell. You can buy beers from the pier and bring them on board. Everything about it was magical. The gentle movement of the vessel was calming too.

This used to be the spot. For the last year I've had nothing but bad experiences. I'm not sure why the men who work here have such an attitude from the jump. I feel like I'm at Ed Debevics every time I go in. I work in the service industry and I cannot fathom treating people the way they do. After 8 years they've finally driven us away. If you want kind service walk uptown a little to the 80's. That little row on Amsterdam is much nicer.

The food here has improved over the years. The place is still the top destination for waterfront bar experience! I have to especially recognize how clean they've maintained the bathroom here, it's exceptional for being in the NYC bar scene and on a swinging barge!

Nice restaurant that focuses on seafood. The bar are is also nice and lively. There are plenty of seating outside and standing by the bar. Great view of New York City and New Jersey . They have good oyster choices and the lobster roll is delicious. They offer other fried food that we didn’t try. Maybe next time

A fun getaway in our home turf (or is that home surf?). Good draft beers, fun cocktails like the Spicy Watermelon Rita, and good seafood fare plus salads and burgers for the non-fish lovers. Multiple doors and levels to sit, both outside and covered. A fun time.

Excellent place for seafood. It had awesome vibe. Adults only place due to the alcohol. You order yourself and pick up your own food. Is really nice on sunny ☀️ day. If you go out to the end of the pier you can have 180 degree view of the water. The 1lb peel and eat shrimp 🦐🍤 is very nice. The tacos are nice. Also the fish n chips is large portion

So delicious! Fresh, fresh food, excellent drinks, outdoor seating was relaxing and the server let us sit and enjoy the beautiful Fall day in the city. The server was fantastic. Very attentive, and we even got a complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal! I had a cucumber and tomato chopped salad with feta, and The bread was incredible! Hummus wasn't recommended by my sister, she said it was bland. But everything else was so delicious! Yum! Yum! Yum!
