Tricolore

It is a French cafe in Tokyo. The finger sandwiches were great. The bread was flawless and the duck was my favorite. The coffee is classic, ground in front of you, and made by a pour over. The Cafe Vienna was the best example I've had and the apple pie is easily in the top 1% globally.

Best apple pie in town! I must try, absolutely delicious pie. Great service. Recommended for a brunch with friends.

This place is great for brunch and the decor within the cafe is really classy (so expect the cost to be high).

We had the smoked duck sandwich (with four half sandwiches of smoked duck, orange marmalade, lettuce and tomatoes) and smoked salmon sandwich (with four half sandwiches of smoked salmon, lettuce and tomatoes). The bread is soft and the tomatoes are sweet though there isn’t much meat for the price (~3,000 yen) and comes with a plate of salad.

The main star of the cafe is the orange Savarin (the Saverin is soaked well with orange brandy and baked well). We also ordered their signature apple pie (delicious since the apple bits are plenty and crust crispy) and their cheese tart (quite normal like usual cheese tarts). The desserts are priced slightly below 1,000 yen each.

Total bill was around 7,800 yen.

I recommend their ice cafe latte where they’ll pour the coffee and milk right in front of you. You can even specify to them how much by parts of coffee/milk do you want.

A very traditional French cafe with very high quality coffee and food. Apple pie is sweet but not over sweet. The blend black coffee from mixed coffee beans has a little sour taste and I like it so much. I like this store very much.

Thank you for the great host! We were attracted by the vibe and smell of hot coffee when passing by the alley. And their cozy decoration, outstanding service and freshly baked dessert made our day in Ginza.
