The tour of Kurdistan was amazing. The booking and preparation was really well organised.

The tour took us to Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Duhok, Akre, Rawunduz and Lalish. It was a great combination of the hustle and bustle of the cities venturing through the bazaars and tea houses and then exploring the beautiful mountains, lakes and caves in the countryside.

The highlight was the Newroz celebration in the mountain. It was a magical experience.

Our guide Balin was a legend. He took was to all the hidden nooks and was so knowledgeable. Anything we needed, he arranged immediately.

As a female solo traveller I felt so safe and people across Kurdistan were so friendly and welcoming.

I would definitely come back.

I had the best week of my life with Rock Road Travel and their amazing, fun and professional guides in Socotra! Stunning place, an amazing group of people that like to go beyond and travel to hidden gems. Communication with Shane before the trip was efficient and quick and he is super helpful and good at leaving us with all information at the right time in order for us to get ready and prepared. Our guide from Rocky - Neil was super knowledgeable and amazing at keeping us all organised, together and happy. Ruslan - our local guide of 'I love Socotra' - is an absolute legend and made this trip memorable!

Just got back from a trip to Socotra organized by Rocky Road Travel and their local partner, I Love Socotra. Our trip leader, Neil, and our local guide, Ruslan, were both super knowledgeable and helped ensure that our entire group got the most out of our experience.
