This is a beautiful and spiritually uplifting place to visit.
Entry is free. Baggage needs to be submitted in a safehouse outside of the temple area.
Once you enter the gates, you need to pass through the scanner for security reasons.
Items can be collected after the visit. Once inside, there is a cloakroom to leave shoes and coats.
The architecture inside is stunning, and the atmosphere is wonderful, with beautiful shrines and a little shop where you can buy souvenirs. Additionally, there is a small museum where you can pay a fee to learn about the history of the Hindu religion.
Photography outside the temple is allowed but photography inside the temple is prohibited.
There are plenty of volunteers to helo and guide you if you are not sure of something.

BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a revered Hindu temple situated in Neasden, London, England. Constructed meticulously using traditional techniques and materials, the Swaminarayan Mandir holds the distinction of being the first authentic Hindu temple in Britain.
Always a pleasure to visit. Tried some different photographs this time. Photos are only allowed outside so make the best of it. Everyone is helpful and kind. There's an exhibition now (£2 entrance fee), interesting. Free parking available, also there's an Indian restaurant that shares the parking space.

This was our go-to place for a long-time in London. We visited it yesterday.
First you need to put your baggage in the safe house where you’ll be given baggage token. Then you go through a very quick security checkpoint. Then you enter into the place. You can’t capture pictures nor videos of inside but the place is beautiful and big. The best part is the employees are very helpful and friendly. A big thumbs up to all the employees for their brilliant hospitality and greetings towards the visitors.
After coming back from the building, we captured this iconic part of the place which is really famous in social media.

A beautiful mandir that's free for all to enter. The arti is beautifully done and is a must see. Please be advised that at around 12:30, the sacred shrines will close until later in the afternoon. Seeing the deities is integral to the experience so visitors should plan accordingly.

Le personnel qui y travaille est tellement bon ! J’ai tenté de me renseigner à chaque étape et on m’a toujours apporté de l’aide et des explications que ce soit pourquoi on fait certaines choses ou encore sur l’architecture en passant par l’histoire !

Having Indian friends, I’m really curious and a fascinated to visit everything, having Indian tradition; I didn’t know about this Cathedral, crossing in front of it. I immediately parked my bike, and I went to visit it. The security guys, at the entrance, they was incredibly kind, not only letting me go inside to visit the cathedral, but they also explained me exactly where I could have gone, end patiently, they answered to every question I made. I’m really anxious to come back with friends to visit even inside.
Avendo amici indiani, sono davvero curioso e affascinato nel visitare tutto della tradizione indiana; Non sapevo di questa Cattedrale, passando li davanti, ho subito parcheggiato la moto e sono andato a visitarlo. Gli addetti alla sicurezza, all'ingresso, sono stati incredibilmente gentili, non solo mi hanno lasciato entrare per visitare la cattedrale, ma mi hanno anche spiegato esattamente dove sarei potuto andare, e con pazienza, hanno risposto ad ogni mia domanda. Non vedo l’ora di tornare con gli amici per visitare anche l'interno.
