Absolutely amazing service at Manchester Airport, was greeted by Anna Marie. Showed me right to my table and the staff that I was served by were really friendly and welcoming! X

Food was alright, although I asked for fried eggs and they brought me out scrambled. It was 20 euros for 4 eggs, bacon, toast - it's the airport, so not expecting too much less.

Service was great.. and had he asked me for a tip, I would have given 20%. However, he didn't and instead, without asking or making me aware, added a 10 euro tip on a 20 euro breakfast. I'm only writing this so other people don't get scammed, so beware; there's no way management doesn't already know about this and allow it.

Specifically requested several times while ordering for our starter of calamari to come as a starter and then the bruchetta and prawns to come as a main with the pizza. Less then 2 minutes after the calamari had come out, they came over with the rest of the food. When questioned it was just shrugged off without an apology. Also waited around 10-15 minutes for our drinks, which came as our food arrived, despite it not being busy and other tables that were sat after us getting their drinks straight away (we only ordered a coke and a bottle of water).

Food was pretty sub-par and the prawns/sauce had a weird aftertaste.

We also ordered a Margherita pizza with an added topping that was put through as one of their more expensive pizzas but instead 'removed' toppings to which meant we ended up paying over £5 for some ham, bit cheeky of them.

Really busy but was seated and served quickly. Staff were really friendly and attentive , especially considering they were so busy. Had eggs Benedict which was decent. The whole experience left me feeling happy and relaxed, which is perfect for the start of a holiday.

Service was slow and all staff were completly disinterested
Then I was served a drink from a leaking glass, then the waitress forgot to replace said drink …
Then I ordered scrambled egg, salmon on sourdough and was served eggs Benedict, from a waitress who didn’t say anything at all even when questioned had I ordered wrong? She just walked away with the dish then returned five mins later with the correct dish with no apology
I then had to return this dish as it had clearly been stood under the heat lamp for ages
Then when another chance of it came out I returned it again. The eggs were like warm, tasted of nothing but water, the sourdough was cold and tough as old boots and I did t even want to sample the dried up salmon

Then to top off the lovely experience, we had to ask to be given a bill then after waiting a further ten minutes to pay … no one came so we got up and had to go to the desk of six waitresses and the MANAGER and ask if we could pay

Some of the best breakfast food I have eaten at an airport and the staff we are really good and were able to get our food as soon as possible.
Also some quick advice, it would be best to come early before the airport gets busy as before we left the restaurant, a queue started forming outside and was a bit long as this is a popular place in the terminal.
