This is unquestionably the best place in Bari, and I've explored quite a few. Nico’s attentiveness is unparalleled, ensuring every custom order is crafted with the freshest ingredients, allowing you to truly experience the essence of the sea and the exquisite delicacies they offer. On my second visit, Nico even remembered us, adding a personal touch to the already exceptional experience. The food is simply divine, and the atmosphere is brilliant. This is not your typical crowded tourist spot; it's an authentic gem. I highly recommend the tuna with stracciatella, the oysters, the octopus, and the local specialty, assassine spaghetti. Don't miss out on asking for the fresh fish of the day – you will be amazed. This place is a solid 10 out of 10.

We were there two times within our 10 days vacation. The first time, they told us after about 15 minutes standing in the cue line in the rain, that for the restaurant, we should at least have a three course meal. For the one who is not sure, shall go to the smaller one. We were not sure about the 3 courses and we have waited too long to give up so we went to the smaller one. We got a table crammed into a very small place, which seems to be a to go shop at day time, it was quite dark in the room. The food were quite good.
Our last day in Bari, we decided to try there again in a “restaurant “. This time there was no condition that we “must” order a 3 course 😉, but we found out that we could only order one kind of pasta. The pasta was good, except that the shrimp seemed to be raw (it’s not written, so I didn’t expect it and don’t like it).

We had the overpriced Chef's special since it included fresh catch of the day. However it was extremely salty, to the point where we couldn't finish. The chairs are very uncomfortable. The only good thing was the service-there I have only praise.

Delicious seafood dishes. Polpo alla brace is a must.
Service, unfortunately is very, very slow. It took us 1/2h to get a place and another 1/2h to get served.
Fish dishes need to be eaten immediately, before it gets cold. My wife had almost finished hers, when I got mine.
We loved what we eaten, but the overall experience was ruined by the fact that we got served 15 min one after another.

The place is mall so it is posible to wait.
You cannot stay for drink you must order food. The food is ok and the portion is enough. The service is ok. One of them a girls it's not very good at talking and serve you in hurry.
If you are a fan of fish and octopus, it's ok to try it.

We ordered the special pasta dish made with local pasta, seafood and the fish of the day. It cost us quite a bit (50 euros/person), but the portion was huge and delicious. We also had some wine of the house, which was ok.

Great restaurant with tasty food and friendly service!

We ordered some roasted veggies and a seafood platter for two which had prawns, squid and octopus. The food was fabulous! 80€ for the seafood platter, it was a massive portion and everything tasted amazing!
