Alli and his team were brilliant! We went on their sunset boat ride and the swim with dolphins & turtles tour. They were so friendly and knowledgable.
The sunset boat ride was very relaxed and we were given fruit and water and could take our own alcohol. We had a lovely time.
The dolphin and turtle tour was a highlight. We saw so many dolphins and Alli, as an experienced swimmer and diver, took our under water camera and got the most amazing videos of the dolphins. He was so proactive with it! We stopped off at a white sand blue sea beach for a fruit breakfast and then went to see the turtles. An incredible experience.

Fantastic tour and trustworthy operator. Since there was a storm during the day when we had scheduled the dolphin tour, they kindly arranged for us to go the next day, which worked out perfectly. The staff was amiable and did a fantastic job looking after my toddler and me. Very strongly advised.
Great time with Captain Abba! We enjoyed a private day in the boat and had a lovely day. We saw dolphins by boat, snorkeled in 3 locations and saw a bunch of starfish on a special stop. The beach spot was wonderful time with an incredible lunch spread.
2024.02// We spent a wonderful half a day. The trip had begun at 7 a.m and finished at 12:30 ( 40 minutes took to arrive from Nungwi beach, Cristal Hotel area till the snorkeling point near Memba Island)
We snorkeled near Memba Island for 30 minutes; the reef is nice but not fantastic; many parts of it are dying, choked by the banks sands nearby.
After that we spent some time on sands banks, enjoying ourselves with fruit, admiring the surroundings and going for a swim.
On the way back there was another 30-minute stop for starfish snorkeling
Do not forget:
Starfish are not toys
THEY BELONG TO THE SEA
STOP pulling them out of the water
Just do snorkeling in their world, nothing more; admire them and leave.
We snorkeled near Memba Island for 30 minutes; the reef is nice but not fantastic; many parts of it are dying, choked by the banks sands nearby.
After that we spent some time on sands banks, enjoying ourselves with fruit, admiring the surroundings and going for a swim.
On the way back there was another 30-minute stop for starfish snorkeling
Do not forget:

STOP pulling them out of the water
Just do snorkeling in their world, nothing more; admire them and leave.

i contactet Zanzibar boat Adventure through whatsapp and they responded in the shortest time possible. we agreed with Captain Aly to book a private tour to Mnemba Island to see dolphins and for snorkelling around the atoll.
Let me tell you.. we didnt get dissappointed.
just before 8am we met with Captain Khasan and Ibrahim at the beach just outside our hotel where they picked us with the boat named Mahi Mahi.
Khasan is a very experienced and cheerful captain which happily ansewerd all our questions. a big shoutout goes to Ibrahim for jumping into the water to capture underwater videos of wild dolphins swimming in crystal clear ocean waters. he also took time to swim with my daughter which gave me the chance to explore the reef on my own.
on the way back we stopped at a beautiful small beach to enjoy some fruits and softdrinks.
it was a wonderful trip with beautiful memories to carry home.
we are looking forward to book another trip with you guys.

My partner and I went for the private sunset tour to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The already gorgeous views were somehow made even better by the delicious fruit! Aly & co were so lovely and the boat 'Sweet Dhow' was the best and gave us such an authentic intimate experience. Thank you for the most magical time
