My latest favorite Japanese restaurant in Jakarta! Such a hidden gem. Best things we ordered: the crunchy salad & the chicken nanban. Soooo gooood!
Superb !!!! It’s become my favorite authentic Japanese restaurant in Jakarta. The sashimis are fresh, foods are excellent, service is ok but can be improved. Fully recommended and will come again soon :)
Kenapa aku kasih bintang 1, karena ada salah 1 karyawan kalian wanita, sayang nya saya lupa namanya, sekitar umur 35 an ke atas, dia yg ngelayanin antar makanan, itu sangat tidak help full, yg membuat saya ngerasa ga nyaman dan menurut saya ga sopan, adalah saat saya bertanya “kalo ini apa aja ya mba menu makanan nya” (sambil nunjuk gambar/tulisan nama menu2) yang menurut saya asing untuk saya yg baru pertama kali kesini, karena saya baru pertama kali, saya dari awal bilang dan udah ngejelasin kalo saya ga paham sama menu nya, dan saya minta tolong dengan rendah hati untuk di presentasiin menu2 recommend, dan menu2 yg saya ga paham, tapi dengan santai nya dia ngomong “itu kan udah ada tulisan nya, tinggal dibaca aja”

OMG sekelas resto yang saya harus bayar service charge selain pajak, harusnya service exelent dong, buat apa bayar service charge tp ditanya baik2 minta tolong menjelaskan menu saja malas dan tidak mau, mimik raut wajah nya , gestur tubuh, semuanya seperti meremehkan, merendahkan. Untuk semua karyawan selain mba2 itu, semua nya oke banget, service exelent, dan helpfull, sopan dan berempati. Padahal saya ga pesen 1-2 menu saja, sayang saja saya ga fotoin semua makanan yg saya pesan. Saran saya untuk di coaching lagi kalau gamau kehilangan customer royal, dan ingin jadi resto terdepan. Thankyou

Authentic japanese restaurant with some private rooms without minimum charge. The portions are generous and worth the premium pricing.

All the food we ordered was sooo yummy and tasteful.
They served dragon roll sushi at first, continue with curry udon (the fact that my man finished the soup until the last drop, proves that the food was so damn good 😂), and we had the most ordered chicken nanban! We close the main course with Maguro Tartar, BEST OF THE BEST. I really want to eat more and more!! For the dessert, we had hojicha ice cream and kabocha dango, it was so delightful..
All the staff are very friendly, polite, responsive and informative. We made a reservation via WhatsApp at 2pm for dinner at 6 pm and they replied very quickly. Our mistake was we didn’t book in advance so we didn’t get a private room, it was full booked :( Anyway, all of the menus that we ordered were recommendations from one of the staff there, Mbak Sinta. I asked her if they could give the dessert a birthday greeting, she said ok and I was surprised they even sang for my man! Haha.
The place is in a hotel courtyard in the city center (The Orient Jakarta), the ambience is enough to cure the longing for Japan, even thought we got maun dining area (open space) but there are partitions that make it feel private. The music wasn’t too loud but it makes perfect.
This is definitely one of the places we will come back to and we would happily recommend to others.

The food tasted good but there are some on the menus that’s already discontinued. Should’ve updated the menu for an establishment as hyped as this one.
Service overall is good, servers were friendly but they just couldn’t close the door of the room on their way out every freaking time. Or they closed it just a little and still left like an inch opened. Like we want the private room to stay private, why would you guys always leave it open? and we’ve had like two or three different servers and they all did the same.
Atmosphere: although we dined in a closed room, there are no ceiling so we still can hear convos from the other rooms but this isn’t a problem cause we don’t bother to pay attention to the voices from other room.

세련된 일식집입니다. 토요일 저녁 5시반에 예약하고 갔고, 다다미방으로 안내 받았습니다. 근데!! 진짜 다다미방이라 무릎관절이 안 좋은 저로선 제일 기피하는 그냥 방바닥에 앉아먹는 자리였어요 ㅠㅠ 먹는 내내 다리 쭉 피고 앉아먹었네요.
분위기는 말끔하게 잘 차려진 일식집이고, 직원들도 친절하고, 먹는 내내 좋아하는 시티팝이 흘러나와 기분좋게 잘 먹었습니다. 음식 퀄리티는 특별히 막 뛰어나다고 느낄 정도는 아니였고, 그냥 무난한 맛으로 대략 잘 먹었습니다.
