This is by far the best dining experience I’ve had in Amsterdam, in the most beautiful setting and with incredible staff. We had a range of plates recommended by the chef and every single dish was amazing. The vegetables were cooked to perfection in a tomato stew and the calamari was so fresh and tender. The bread basket with tzatziki was delicate, the shrimp so springy and vibrantly flavourful.
I tried Greek coffee for the first time and it was just lovely. The serano cake was a great way to end the night. Honestly a 10/10 experience.
The owner and team at Romios made us feel so welcome and truly went above and beyond to make our night a memorable one. I can’t thank them enough! I hope to eat here again soon.

Amazing new revamp .. and after missing it for 3 months the food is still absolutely the best .. if you want great Gyros come visit
I’m sorry guys but it is definitely not 5⭐️.. For those who visited Greece even one time it can’t be so good for sure.

1.All food is ready so they just warm it in the microwave..
2. The place needs a renovation and there is only a few tables so I would not recommend to come here for dates.
3. Appetisers we didn’t like at all 👎🏻. Lamb and potatoes are tasty but not something special.
At the end we paid almost 50€ and it is a bit too much for this place.

A small cozy place in the heart of De Pijp. The pita gyros with lamb was super (great taste and portion!). The exochico with feta cheese, chicken, and mushroom was also well-seasoned and the cheese used for stuffed eggplant was really nice.
Offered a great service but would be a better experience if we could have tried their special dishes (unfortunately the main chef was out to shop more ingredients when we’re there 😓). A sign to come back again maybe
