The clam chowder - Delicious. Smokey and rich.

Haddock fish n chips - Crispy batter, fresh haddock. Good quality. Warning: Unless you are a big eater, don't order the large. Standard is big enough. The potatoes chips also slightly battered but not flavored battered and the batter made harder than crispy. I've had better chips elsewhere so not too impressed.

Grilled lobsters - It was not that special. It's grilled lobster. Didn't wow me but didn't disappoint neither.

Service however was excellent.

After a long 5 hour drive up from Leeds we got to our hotel and then came here for fish and chips and they were amazing. Such a fresh piece of fish and lovely well cooked chips. Everything is good fresh on demand which adds to the quality and is well worth the additional wait. 100% recommend!

High quality of food. Amazing taste. Service is passionate and very friendly and helpful. You have to come here. Well worth a 30 min tram journey from Edinburgh Haymarket. We will come back. Thank you so much.

Came here for dinner. There are two dining options. You can order out from the till to the right of the entrance or dine in at the restaurant to the left of the entrance. I would recommend that you reach out to them for reservations if you intend to dine in as they were fully booked on a Thursday evening when I dropped in. Nonetheless, I was still able to order takeaway from the till and eat it on their patio.

I have to say, this is probably one of the best fish and chips I had while in Edinburgh. The haddock was thick and not dry at all. The batter was thin and golden crispy . It was not doughy or heavy at all. The chips were perfectly cooked! I also ordered the fried crab claws which were fantastic. They did not have langostines on the day I went there. I would definitely return to give their dine in menu a try as the menu is a bit different vs takeaway options.

1. I wish I had 2 stomachs… I had 4 dishes and I could go for another 4.

They have great quality oysters.
The quality of the seafood platter was excellent with one lobster, 2 giant crab claws, 4 oysters, 2 scallops and satisfying amount of clams and mussels, served with tasty sauces for £120 (a bit expansive isn’t it).
The fish stew is recommended as well.
Quite occupied so better book a table instead of walk in. We were asked to walk around for a few minutes when we arrived 5 minutes before our reservation.

The oysters weren’t as fresh like the first time I went here. The fish and chips were amazing. Definitely the best Fish and Chips I have tasted. The chips could have been a bit more crispy. The service was a bit lacking. My main gripe with the service being the waitress dropped some coke on the table but did not take the initiative to wipe it until we specifically requested
