So beautiful. Fall , winter . Doing and summer . Absolutely gorgeous landscape
E009 is a nice secluded camp spot with some phone signal and enough clearing for satellite. Signs posted No Fires at this time.
Stayed at Poplar Run in the Snowhill area. The site was nice but man it was not peaceful. Lots of air traffic, firing range apparently near by ripping them off for an hour, fire crackers. Too much noise. Wouldn’t go back.
Clean, well manicured & cultivated. Beautiful native plants & flowers growing wildly in the wild. Every path is lined with colors from purple to reds. The evergreens are mixed well with other native color changing trees to add a dynamic no matter what time of year you visit.
Had a great time camping with some pals, of you are going to respect the forest and be safe, I definitely recommend a visit.
