I recently visited Spice Market on the 27th of July to celebrate a friend's birthday with two others. Our experience was elevated by a staff member named Desmond, who was exceptionally polite and professional. Despite us taking some time to order and asking numerous questions about the menu, Desmond remained patient and friendly, providing excellent suggestions that we appreciated. His attentiveness and recommendations, including the mocktails, were fantastic, ensuring we had a memorable time.

However, our experience was marred by another staff member whose name I don't recall. She made several inappropriate comments, such as questioning my friend's choice of ordering lobster adding “ take something cheaper, thats too much money, Man !!” and making an off-putting joke about the flowers we brought stating “ these are for me right?“. Her behavior was unprofessional and disappointing. She also mentioned its her last day and I believe it is better for you, because she really gave us a feeling we are dining in the street.

Despite this, Mr Desmond's exemplary service made up for it, and I would gladly return to Spice Market because of him. His professionalism and friendliness truly stood out, we managed to recover the lovely evening vibes and continue our celebration. He deserves recognition for his outstanding service.

Don’t believe what they tell you over the phone when you call. I called to ask about the prices of the friday brunch and was told that for the summer promotion, the friday brunch without alcoholic beverages it’s 250 QAR and with alcoholic beverages it’s 350 QAR. I reserved a table for two and for our surprise when the bill was served we paid the full price of 450 QAR per person. We communicated to the manager that this isn’t the price we reserved based upon, as we were told it’s 350 QAR and not 450 QAR but the manager couldn’t care enough and only said “no it’s 450”. Moreover, whenever you order a drink expect it to be served after 20-25 minutes. The salmon served was a bad quality salmon which we couldn’t even swallow due to the chewy texture it had. I wouldn’t recommend it for brunch which is very disappointing knowing how good the quality and service is if you go for lunch or dinner. It was our first time and of course last time for brunch.

Came for Fathers Day lunch, was expecting the lunch deal, but the stopped serving as it was Eid, we were the only ones there, the server sorry can't remember their names, were on point. They bought out a birthday cake and started to sing happy birthday, we had to stop them and said it was Fathers Day, it was funny they felt silly. But we got a free dessert out of it 😋

It was an amazing Friday Brunch at The Spice Market. Ambiance , Food and the service is top notch. Music was soulful however was too loud for that space. Overall it was an amazing time spent! Thank you and keep up the great work. Cheers.

From the moment you enter you are greeted with the best customer experience of any brunch. Ali, the supervisor, would replace a drink just as you reached the end of your current one. He was attentive throughout, even helping my mum to show her where the toilets are. She had such a lovely time mainly due to the staff making you feel so welcome. The sushi is unreal. A MUST brunch when in Qatar.
