We chose the local Turkish dish Testi - which is a slow cooked dish in a small pottery dish that is broken in front of you and then served.. We had a chicken one and a beef one. My beef was unfortunately cold, and not tender. They warmed it up but it was a shame that it was not correct from the start. They have a wood fired oven , and the bread was really tasty. The pizza’s looked good but we did not try them.
The pide and bakeries are good. Take pide. Don’t ever try the sweet there. The staff are welcoming. No service fees applied. It’s ok for a light meal.

Cappadocia Pide House and Restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The pide was perfectly cooked with a variety of toppings to choose from. I highly recommend this place to everyone who loves good food. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Service not bad but we had better experiences on several other restaurants. The Turkish Pisa (chef special) was just okay although it set the expectations very low. I’ve asked for falafel but they delivered something similar, meaning, it lacked the garlic, cilantro etc.

Maybe they had a bad day at the kitchen but the food was awful. Worst ciorba, fries, chicken so far! Bread was cold and the overall taste not what you might expect from a Turkish restaurant even in a turistic spot. We thought that if they have an oven at least we will get some hot bread. Try the other restaurants nearby.
The food as the service was amazing. Me and my girlfriend tried this place because of the friendly guy in front of the restaurant helping us out with directions and we spent the entire afternoon eating and relaxing here. The bathroom is very clean and we were also invited for tea after our dessert. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Göreme.
