EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF!! we went to this pub as it’s branded as an Irish pub. Family were over from Ireland for the weekend so we decided to take a visit. My parents my partner and my sister who’s 17. Middle of the day at 2pm we walked in and when I say the rudest girl started shouting in front the whole pub asking us for ID. Embarrassing enough for her as I’m 27 however I said it was 2pm in the day and my sister who’s 17 we advised we were with our parents and she wouldn’t be drinking. She said the rules only just changed today as Arsenal and spurs were on the television and it was nothing to do with drinking.. bit of a pathetic excuse if you ask me? Anyway she proceeded to turn around and tell us to go to a pub called the box where they would let us do what we want under 18?? She clearly contradicted herself. Anyway we left the pub feeling humiliated. I didn’t quite catch this girls name as she was speaking so rudely and after she passed the smart comment she walked off but she had black curly hair. The pub is known as a family run pub well they should be ashamed to have a staff member like this girl. From reading other reviews here I can see people are having the same issues with rude staff. Would not recommend here to anyone!!! This girl needs a personality upgrade and some basic customer service skills, extremely ignorant!!!

We had a round and some chips and onion rings ordered from the first guy who was very polite, was a good wee ambiance. However we never got any sauces brought to us and so I went looking for some brown sauce. Went up to ask the staff member with dreadlocks behind the counter but he was busy with someone else, seen the sauces sitting at the side so grabbed two packets to take them back. Next thing he said something, didn’t hear it so said sorry? He told me I should have asked for it, told him sorry I didn’t want to disturb you when I saw he was talking to someone and said does he have other ones sitting about, then just gave off that he would have to make up the trays again (that had the sauces etc in it). We just left when we had finished our round instead of getting a second one as that was just a terrible experience over packet of sauces.
