Wonderful exhibit. Great location. Went here as part of the World Choir Games and watched some Amazing choirs in the Gallery.

Very interesting museum with a good range of exhibits from all eras. The racing section will be of particular interest of anyone who's interested in the sport.

We went to the museum on the off chance as we didn’t really have any plans for that day. We were pleasantly surprised with the museum and all of its exhibits - worth a visit if you’re in the city. Plus the tickets are valid for 2 days 😇

Mother’s Day 2024. Booked the Ted Ashby sail for two oldies and my teen and I. Cost was very competitive and well worth it. Enjoyed the museum first - WOW it’s changed since I was last there. Highly recommended. The sail was wonderful. We had amazing weather..no wind though. Light refreshments were served and they were substantial enough the oldies didn’t need lunch. The staff were lovely and very lovely to our oldest. Thank you for a wonderful day out. Highly recommended

Definitely a must do when in the city! There are so many different activities for the younger(and older) kids. Would probably suggest around 2 to 3 hours to enjoy the experience and take in the history around you. FYI if you are an Auckland resident you just need to show proof of address and your entry is free!!!! So cheap, fun and educational 5/5

An incredibly well curated museum. It goes into the deep history of both the Maori and European immigrant experience of Auckland and greater New Zealand.

I was very impressed as to how interactive the museum was and they did a wonderful job balancing the exhibits to have something for all ages.
