Local food market! Only 3 stores got long queues and this is one of them. Thighs and wings are all sold out 🥲
Milk tea is good too!
Chinatown Complex Market & Food Centre is a bustling hawker center in the heart of Chinatown, with at least a hundred stalls to explore. If you're not a local with QR payment or WeChat, make sure to bring some cash! We tried a few dishes, and our favorites were the fried chicken with salted egg, peanut soup with matcha and red bean dumplings, and the fried dough. It was hot and crowded on a Sunday, but that just added to the fun and lively experience. A must-visit for authentic local flavors!

Overwhelmed with the size of this food center, there is several area marked with different colored tables.

Having breakfast for 2 days at different food stalls.

Great food, great vibes

Good hawker centre with many food options. Dont be afraid to explore. Pro tip - try those with the longest queue. Usually worth the wait. Good to also support the rest of stalls. Love that we can order from different stalls at same time.

The best place in Singapore to enjoy food. It has shops, restaurants, bars, massage parlours. Place for all types of cuisines including Chinese, Indian, Thai, Korean etc.

Always a good hawker center choice. Had been jonesing for pig organ soup, siew yook mee, and char siew mee, so I got all three and enjoyed. Didn’t eat everything. Didn’t plan to. But the itch got scratched. Home to the world’s 1st Michelin starred hawker, but I arrived after they closed. Next week.

I recommend the Bak Chor Mee. Enjoy vinegar taste awesome. I ordered 5.50 and the portion is just nice. So 4.50 maybe is abit small. But if you want to try many many food in this complex small size is good enough. I love the peanut soup and rice dumpling dessert. Cheap and nice! The fried prawn noodles has good wok smell the sambal Chili gives more punch to the flavour. The claypot chicken rice from this stall I think is below my expectation. It does have the burnt rice smell. And I added $1 for the salted fish. But no punch at all. So don’t recommend for this claypot rice. I will try the claypot rice next to the fried prawn noodles next time coz’ it was not open when I wanted to try.
