An excellent museum with local, well-prepared fossils. Particularly impressive ichthyosaur specimens! Very friendly and helpful staff, free parking nearby and a great selection of palaeontology books on sale. Definitely worth a visit while in Sheffield!
The tour was exceptionally remarkable. Our tour guide demonstrated exceptional friendliness and enthusiasm, engaging in extended conversations beyond the scheduled time. He expressed genuine passion for sharing his knowledge and made the experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour and commend the guide for his outstanding service.
On Holme Lane, near Towsure. Took my nephews who are mad about fossils. The guide upstairs was extremely friendly and informative. She knew ruins about the exhibits. My nephew loved it, but I thought it was expensive for just a one room museum. £4.00 for adults and £2.00 for children.
