Excellent mussels, great view and great service speaking English, wine was average but for 16 euro altogether a great deal in the center of the city, I would come back.

Prime location in the old town harbour with the most amazing view of the boats and the Basilica high up on the hill.

We chose this place for the great reviews but the food wasn't as good as we had hoped for the price.

I had the ravioli with goats cheese and figs. The serving was a good size and the taste was lovely, but it was barely luke warm. For €19.50 I thought it was fair.

The table next to us complained their mussels were not hot enough either and the waitress whisked it away and bought a new pot that was steaming.

My husband had the seafood bouillabaisse which lacked any sort of theatre and the wow factor. It was a broth with some fish pieces. He said it tastes average and for €37.00 I don't think it's good value for money.

We wouldn't dine here again.

It was my first bouillabaisse in my life. We ordered bouillabaisse, mussels, tuna tartar and bottle of white wine. Everything is amazing. Staff is so kind. I would like to go this restaurant again!

Very nice service and atmosphere. The food wasn't really good - the shells I've oredered weren't freshly cooded maybe from the morning and just heated, the fried fish smelled old oil, the Sangia cocktail wasn't good at all. We purchased a bottle of wine "La Coste" which was really good.

Really good place; amazing mussels and friendly service. And the prices for the the mussels is really affordable. Loved the place and recommend it. The owner is really nice as well.

The menu was a seafood lover's dream, featuring an enticing selection of [fresh/local/seasonal] catches. We opted for octopus and mussels both were absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked to perfections and the flavors were [amazing/explosive/perfectly balanced].

The service was outstanding. Our waiter, was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and made excellent recommendations that perfectly complemented our tastes. She explained the menu which truly enhanced our dining experience.

Overall, la Cigale is a fantastic restaurant that serves some of the best seafood in Marseille. It's a perfect spot for a special occasion or a memorable meal with loved ones. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience!
