This is one of the most unique churches I have ever seen. There are human skulls and bones that line the walls.

At one point in time, the bell tower from the much larger cathedral next door feel on it and there was also a fire.

It's a uniquely intriguing and eerie place.

Entry is free, but as always if you can spare a few coins, they are always appreciated.
Absolutely incredible to see. You walk into this very small mausoleum and as your eyes adjust to the light you are presented with the list exquisite surroundings, all over the walls and ceiling.

It's hard to believe that something that is 1500 years old looks this good.

Do yourself a favour and buy a combination ticket that let's you visit 5 sites for just €10.

There are chairs arranged around the central font so that you can admire and take it all in.

So beautiful... if you are an art Lover I highly recommend.

Only a few minutes walk from the National Archeological museum.

We came for lunch at midday and had a delightful three courses.

Each course was absolutely beautiful and we shared a desert.

Lovely decor and staff and a very extensive wine list.

Highly recommended

Visited after a very early start to see the Cathedral before the crowds.

We were greeted with a warm hello and were overwhelmed at the amount of gorgeous pastries in front of us.

We couldn't decide so we ordered two each and two coffees, one iced and one hot.

Everything was laid out on the bar for as us at the front of the shop and we enjoyed our breakfast. All this was only €8.90 and it was all fresh and delicious.

Highly recommended.

Amazing views from the gardens and there is also an old Roman church there.

The orange trees laiden with fruit allow a strong citrus scent to fill the park.

There was a wedding while we were there, a guitarist (not sure if he was part of the wedding) and an artist who was selling his beautiful paintings.

This whole area looks lovely and it's certainly worth the short climb for the panoramic views.
