The place itself is wonderful and is a great set up for family fun. My toddler loved it.
However, my experience was dampened by two staff members. Firstly, a young man who was serving at the cafe - he wore glasses, had a beard and silvery/blonde hair. I was waiting in the queue and a young girl in front of me got some skittles and a slush drink. When I got to the till I said “she’s going to be all sugared up isn’t she” with a chuckle, as a way to make small talk/be friendly and he just looked at me with a stern expression and said “she’ll be alright”. I found it very strange and rude for a member of staff to react that way to a customer who is just trying to be pleasant.
He was unhelpful in general too, as I asked him for something afterwards (about where I could put my drink as no drinks are allowed in the play area) and he fobbed me off again with no smile or pleasant tone. He felt very stand offish and I’m not sure what his problem was.

Once I was in the inflatable part, the young female member of staff with learning difficulties said to me very curtly “can I see you wristband”, when I showed it to her she walked off without so much as a smile. Again, an unpleasant interaction, perhaps I would have noticed less if I wasn’t already upset but the previous guy. Later she did something similar again. I can understand she has a learning difficulty but it was just another bad interaction after the first guy. It’s a shame that I I felt unwelcome there despite the manager being lovely (he helped me when I couldn’t pay for a locker) and the girl at the reception being nice too.

It's a nice venue to enjoy your day. The installations are fun. But it comes with a price - lots of kids mean lots of bugs going around. My whole family caught something and had to lie down for 4 days. Doesn't help that everyone s sick at the same time.

Booked a slot mid-week during the school day in term time, in the hopes that it would mostly be adults and some parents with their younger kids. We expected a couple of kids but we did not anticipate a full school trip to be booked onto the same session. Made it really difficult to stay in the arena, and we left less than halfway through, along with a few other adults and a parent whose toddler was nearly dived on in the ball pit by older teenagers.
Granted, the staff were lovely, and we were offered to finish our session on a later slot in the day, but we didn't have time & we also would have had to pay extra to extend our locker times for our belongings.

All in all, great staff and a really good price if you're someone who doesn't mind a ton of rowdy teenagers, but realistically large school trips should be allocated their own slot without members of the public. Or at least, if they do book a school on the same slot, email the other people who have booked and give them the option to amend or cancel the booking.

Kids loved it! We were there for 2 hours and they wanted to stay longer. We had a group of 10 children from ages 3 to 15 years old, and they all had a really good time. Definitely book in advance as it was fully booked when we arrived.

My daughter had her birthday party, and it was awesome.... the kids loved it, and they had so much fun.

The new arena is really amazing. My kids liked it a lot.
