We ordered two bowls of duck noodles and the famous duck intestines to share. We think the price is reasonable. We like the noodles as it is simple and nice. Tasted like home cooked food. We find the duck intestines kind of plain for us. Perhaps others like it more than us :)
The soup is flavourful , clear and tasty. silky keoh teow, recommended to come early. They close early
The stall opens early in the morning, and locals can be seen patronising it for a bowl of hot comfort from 7am.
I had a generous bowl of its Duck Meat Koay Teow Th'ng, which came standard with duck meat, offal, and fish balls. The broth was a bit on the sweet side.
There were assorted side dishes, and I observed the popular choices were duck feet, duck intestines, and braised delicacies such as braised beancurd and pig intestines. Porridge and "Koay Jiap" were not available during my time of visit.
The uncle preparing the dishes was efficient and friendly. Some helpers may be new and lack promptness.
