Perfect example of the great outdoors! You can walk as far as you like into the canyon and also up the south wall on the Devil’s Staircase. The trail is narrow and suitable for beginner to moderate hikers.

A most fantastic view of the canyon sides and various peaks in the distance, and you walk along the creek for much of the valley trail.

If you’re lucky, you may spot some large animals. We saw two younger moose grazing in one of the alpine meadows.
