Ports of Call at Taj Samudra in Colombo is a fantastic place to hang out, offering great food and friendly staff. In each visit they have left me impressed with their excellent service and delicious cuisine. All in all, an amazing dining experience.

Taj Samudra Hotel is the place to have a relaxing morning. Taj Samudra is always a beautiful place to see. Their ports of call Restaurant was prepared for us in the morning and it created a very quiet and beautiful environment. All the food and drinks there were pleasantly served and they were very tasty and refreshing. There was a huge variety of food in their breakfast buffet, including local, Indian and European food. Their friendly staff do their work with diligence and enthusiasm which we appreciate.highly recommended

Just tried this pasta and it's a game-changer! Perfectly al dente with a rich, flavorful sauce that hits all the right notes. Definitely a must-try! 🍝👌 Thanks chef Johann for the amazing food

Myself and my partner chose a late night visit to Ports of Call, to end a long, wet and busy day and we are so glad that we ended our night at such a wonderful restaurant/buffet.

We decided to go with the Al a carte menu and it didn't disappoint. We could have chosen anything from that menu, each option sounded exactly what we needed and all at a very reasonable price.
As it was getting late we only opted for a burger and lasagna. To our surprise we were offered a complimentary cream of chicken soup and bread rolls for starters by our wonderful and attentive waiter "Oshan". He was so kind and helpful, giving us time to decide what to eat and also providing suggestions, he also made sure to not seem overbearing.

The service is exactly what you expect from a place like this. We were left really impressed and happy.

The food was lovely, really well done and well presented and the ambience was calm/relaxing.
We could have stayed there for many hours, in fact when we did decide to leave we were then offered a little chocolate treat as a way of thank you for dining with them.

I can honestly see why Ports of Call gets such great reviews, I really cannot fault anything about this resturant/buffet.

We will most definitely return, in fact we mean to as soon as possible.

Un bel ristorante per passare una bella serata, tranquilla. Diviso da una vetrata c'è una piscina. Il mangiare lascia un po' a desiderare per gli occidentali, in quanto ci sono molti piatti caratteristici del luogo, "piccante e speziato". Tutto a buffet ovviamente. Il servizio un po' lento, in quanto quando finisci e ti alzi a prendere un altro piatto, torno al tavolo e c'è ancora il piatto di prima. Comunque un posto che se vi trovate da quelli parti vale la pena andare a cenare. Se vi è piaciuto questa recensione mettete un like qui di sotto.👍🏻👍🏻 grazie
