I had a great experience with the crochet class at Gibbs. Registration online was easy, people led us to our classroom on the first day so we weren’t lost, and the quality of instruction was great! Best of all was it brought the community together

Disappointed that they wouldn’t make an exception and give a credit for a future class after coming down with covid. I spoke to someone on the phone about this two days prior to my class to let them know of the situation but they wouldn’t provide a credit for the same class in the future, even though the class had a waitlist and someone else would have been able to take my spot. They blamed it on supplies the instructor purchased which were in the $5 range for the same supplies used for other classes. I mentioned that a different organization gave me a credit for a class with an even shorter lead time (shout out to Cambridge School of Culinary Arts) but the woman on the phone said they are not like other organizations. This is what I expect from a large corporation rather than a small community education group.
