I pay using automation which didn't work and I was shut off for non-payment. Fine, okay then, no problem, however, if they shut off service you need to wait to be reconnected by a human and that is not until 7 am on weekdays. The automated system for American Water can take the payment but not turn your service back on once you do pay.
