I made the mistake of visiting Taste of India restaurant located in Ghubra, Muscat. The only mistake from my end was to visit them at 11:15 pm. The restaurant was completely empty and the staff was rude. The service was pathetic and the food did taste ok but didn’t contain what we ordered. The mutton kadhai had all sorts of vegetable and only 1 piece of mutton in it. On asking the serving person, we were told that Sir there are crushed pieces of mutton should I serve you? Also, it was the first time that the aloo palak tasted below average. This is one dish that most restaurants cook well. Sort of wasted my 15 rials and left within 15 min of the food being served to avoid the staffs getting late as the restaurant closes at 12 am! Highly disappointed and shall never go back again.

While the food overall was okay, the Tandoori Chicken Masala and Malai Kofta stood out and are highly recommended. Taste of India is worth a visit for those who appreciate authentic Indian flavors, particularly if you're dining with family.

We had a party coz they’ve recently renovated the restaurant. Food was excellent- not oily nor spicy. Service is very good. Would highly recommend.

From the refreshing welcome drink of Fresh Lime with Mint to the delectable Kulfi Falooda dessert, every bite was an explosion of flavours. The Paneer Tikka Butter Masala were melt-in-your-mouth goodness, each bite bursting with authentic Indian spices. The Veg Cocktail Kebab was a delightful mix of textures and flavors, and the Aloo Gobi Masala had me reaching for seconds. Dal Makhani was a creamy indulgence, and paired perfectly with the fragrant Jeera Rice. The Bread Basket was fresh and fluffy, ideal for soaking up the delicious gravies. And to round off the meal, the Kulfi Falooda was a sweet symphony of flavors that left me craving more. With impeccable service and an ambiance that complements the culinary journey, Taste of India is a must-visit for any food lover craving authentic Indian cuisine.
