The staff that took our order was knowledgable about the menu, the location is nice but the price is too expensive for the kind of food that they served. I ordered the smashed burger for my main course that cost 265kr and all I can say that Baba's burger or Max's burgers are so much better. We spent around 700-800kr each.

It was a special night when I invited my sons and their partners to dinner. It is rare that we all are in the same city at the same time.
I will start with the positives. The atmosphere was nice, it was a beautiful evening and sitting so close to the water was truly unique. The food was good, so no complaints there.
What was a bit surprising in an establishment like J, was that once we had ordered starters and mains. It was a strange surprise to us when the staff brought us the mains, before they had served the starters. They looked at us funny when we told them we had ordered starters and wanted them before the mains. They didnt argue with us, and took the mains back to the kitchen. I am just surprised that something like this would happen at J. It was not even very crowded so how they missed out on the starters is very odd.
The next thing that should not happen in an expensive restaurant is that none of the waiters filled up our wine glasses. We had to serve ourselves. Not a huge issue, but in a place like J, I expected better service.
All in all, the food was good, but the experience was very average. I will not rush back to J.

Went with a large group for dinner on a Monday evening then only negative I can give it is even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait more than 15 minutes before we could be seated. And after a 30 minute walk to a ferry and a tranfer to a second ferry to get here, we were all thirsty and hungry, lol. Other than that, the service was rather quick and courteous and the food was very good! Due to our large party (approx 40 people) we had to order ahead so I ordered the ribeye steak and my husband had the smash burger. My steak was very tender, spiced just right and cooked medium-rare, just the way I like it. My husband said his burger was also quite good. Being a dock-side restaurant made it a great location. Who doesn't enjoy a meal while looking our on the water?! Definitely recommend it if in Stockholm
