If you are looking for a place which is pure vegetarian also having Jain options along with no alcohol served then Tao is a bonus place for you to enjoy Asian delicacy.
The decor of the place is chic, classy and fine dine with lovely lighting to add in a rich touch to the place.
The staff here is very courteous and the service here is also pretty quick so you be rest assured of no delays in your orders.
1. Crispy Mushroom uramaki - classic sushi rice, with nori wrapped in with tempura fried mushroom having a crispy touch to the sushi tastes best when topped with chilli oil .
2. Charcoal Paneer Bao - charcoal soft bao buns filled in with crispy paneer tossed in gochujang having a mild spice with a bit of sweet flavors in the the bao.
3. Appletini - a classic martini concept based mocktail having fresh apple, pineapple juices having a little bit of fizz.
4. Signature Marry - Classic guava juice with a touch of spice and a bit high on salt making it a balanced drink to enjoy.
5. Stir Fried Udon Noodles - Stir fried udon noodles with bok choy , beans, zucchini , bamboo shoots and dehydrated shitake mushrooms. The noodles texture is thick and long and love the spice in the noodles along with the stir fried veggies .
6. Gochujang Fried Rice - jasmin rice tossed in gochujang sauce with loaded mushrooms with almost 4 types of mushrooms giving in a very umami flavor to the rice with mild spice but more on a soothing side of flavors . This bowl of rice is a hug so dont miss it out.
Over all a 5/5 for taste, food , quality, quantity, value of money, ambience and staff.

We had dinner at Tao which is located in Bandra and we loved the vibe of the place. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We had the crispy tempura sushi, hand tossed spicy Basil Bao which was extremely soft and flavourful. For main course we tried the wild mushroom in spicy soya sauce with wok tossed garlic rice! The vegetables were crispy and well done and the gravy was delicious and light. For dessert we tried the Warm melting chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which was scrumptious.
