The building itself is joyful and comfortable to explore. Expositions are varied and suitable for different tastes and art "craves".
Of course there are hits and misses from pretentious conceptual pieces to truly original and thoughtful masterpieces. But that art and options to explore every possible variety is truly important. And Kunsthal in Rotterdam provides those opportunities.

Tastefully curated exhibitions with excellent artwork description so you actually can follow the story and understand how to appreciate the artwork! Really love how the building is designed as well. This museum doesn't have permanent exhibitions so it's worth come back again and again for the new special exhibitions!
A museum of contemporary Art in an amazing, modern piece of architecture, 'leaning' against the enormous river dike in bustling Rotterdam. A great variety of Art works by artists from various countries.
One of the impressive masterpieces of Rem Koolhaas. Exceptional, experimental, extraordinary, yet practical. Even mediocre pieces of art can shine bright, just by displaying here. A must-visit place when in Rotterdam or Amsterdam.
AMAZED BY THIS MUSEUM!!! I went to see Doron Langberg’s Part of Your World - and what an amazing choice of an artist to have in this contemporary museum. He has a lot of references to older paintings but still captures the freshness of the contemporary art. As well, I saw other installations (there are 7 of them) but this one caught my eye the most. The highlight of my day in Rotterdam :)
