Café Fernet
Vegetarian Menu: Impressive! They have a separate vegetarian menu.
Dishes Tried:
Burrata: flavourful cheese, tomatoes and almond crumbles
Sicilian Marinated Olives: Flavorful and delightful.
Crispy Smashed Potato: A crispy, comforting treat.
Tagliatelle Al Tartufo: Rich and satisfying.

Ambiance: Warm hospitality with stunning views of Marina Bay Sands and the bay.
Overall: An amazing restaurant experience with a view!

Prime location with direct unobstructed full direct view of the Marina Bay Sands. Nice artisanal pastas, great food. Just that you should be prepared to pay its worth.

Food here was amazing 10/10!! Starters were all good. The focaccia with tomato yuzu was very yummy but I think the octopus could have been better. Wagyu tartare and burrata are staples for my palette and they were excellent! Cacio e pepe also lived up to its reputation. Date night vibes and perfect view of marina bay sands + the national day fireworks. Can’t ask for more. Will be back :) Total bill was $224 for 4 pax without any alcohol.

Great Italian food and perfect location with a very nice view at Caffe Fernet, right smack in the middle of CBD.

Parking here is difficult but public transport is easy to get to.

The lunch set menu was pretty affordable (SGD40) and I ordered 2 main course as the helping looked huge and the dessert wasn’t that appealing to me.

First came the Parma ham with melon. It was extremely delicious. The melon was so sweet and juicy and the Parma ham was sliced very thinly and had a very salty flavorful taste that went very well with the melon. The aesthetics was just beautiful.

For main, I ordered the Lumache Spicy Vodka, changed it to spaghetti. Loved the spiciness and the savory tomato based with generous amount of pork sausages. The pork sausage was juicy and tender and had a pepperish taste. For a tomato based pasta lover, I felt the sauce was very thick and had lumps of tomato in it, which I loved. Only thing was that the helping was too big for it and I had a hard time finishing them.

Only 3 stars for atmosphere cause the restaurant was packed during lunch hour. Our group came at 1pm and almost all the tables were filled and everyone was talking and laughing so loudly we had a hard time hearing each other. Guess that’s what you get for a restaurant with good food.

Lastly, I had a Melati Martini Mocktail (SGD18) that was a tiny bit too small for the price and tasted just like fancy ribeana. Likely would not recommend the mocktails here. 😅

The service was top-notch, with very proactive staff who frequently check on us and top up our water without us asking. The food was superb. My friend and I got the lunch set, which made our meal here more affordable. We chose the burrata, a pasta, and a dessert. The burrata here is the best burrata I have tasted in Singapore and I just love the texture of the pasta. The dessert was perfect and just nice as well. Pretty nice view and very peaceful outside of peak hours. 100/10.

We came here for a birthday celebration. Food was so good here, servers were smiley and accommodating. Vibe is lively and casual. There’s a big open space right outside, and our 5 y.o. daughter enjoyed running around there while enjoying the stunning view of Marina Bay Sands. Loved our experience here, would definitely come back!!
