Great location and vista, if you can forgive the occasional brusque guest loudly puzzling why they can’t walk in and sit down. There is a QR code to scan and reserve your place in the queue, using your name and phone number. Please use it. The waitstaff are courteous and the manager will assist you if you ask.

I visited Hortus with my wife and had a wonderful experience. The place has a very cozy ambiance, with nice music and a beautiful view. It feels like you’re in a very relaxing retreat. I had a latte, which was great, and the pistachio ice cream we tried was amazing—very unique in flavor. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend it!

Food was interesting and delicious both to the eyes and taste buds. Mediterranean food.
The restaurant is situated inside the flower dome, so it felt like we're dining outdoors with the nature but without the Singapore heat.
Reservation with the restaurant came with complimentary buggy pickup at the main entrance to the restaurant entrance.

During our visit to the Flower Dome prior to breakfast, we made a brief stop for a cup of coffee. Although I had not made a reservation and was therefore subject to a time limit, the staff was very accommodating and provided me with a suitable location. As the only cafe within the Flower Dome, it offered a convenient opportunity to unwind and enjoy the garden's ambiance for a while. The quality of the coffee and dessert was generally satisfactory.

Food ranged from very good to decent. But on the whole, it was a memorable experience trying their food. Service was polite despite restaurant being busy. The adana kebab was smooth and succulent; the horiatiki salad was very well balanced (though wished for more feta). Kingfish collar with cabbage and fennel was enjoyable as well. The two pasta dishes, i felt, could be better, imo. The vanilla gelato with shaved halva was simply delightful to eat.

Walking around flower dome when my blood sugar dropped, so I ducked into this restaurant for a quick bite. Luckily, they hit the spot! I tried the braised chicken leg, which was incredibly tender and flavorful, though the portion size was a bit on the small side.

The shakshuka eggs were another winner. The tomatoes were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For dessert, I opted for the carrot cake, and it was heavenly. Dense, moist, and with the perfect amount of sweetness to combat my hypoglycemia.

Overall, a great find! (Just a note about portion size for future diners.)

We stumbled upon this place because the kids was getting hungry. We didn’t expect much because it’s within a tour spot, but it turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had so far in Singapore. The prices are super reasonable and the freshness of the food is great. Their desserts are so so good! Service was great too with recommendations that fits your party. Overall a great experience! Would definitely eat here again!
