At Singapore Hawker, the culinary journey took us through a delightful array of flavors. The Pineapple Fried Rice and Coconut Sayur Kari emerged as stars, boasting remarkable taste profiles that captivated our palates. The Pineapple Fried Rice delivered a perfect blend of sweet and savory notes, while the Coconut Sayur Kari impressed with its rich and comforting flavors. The appetizers were incredibly tasty as well. The fried Tofu was absolutely finger licking good and the roti was oozing with flavours!
However, the Singapore Laksa with Mixed Vegetables fell slightly short of expectations due to a hint of rawness from the curry powder, which detracted from an otherwise promising dish. Nevertheless, it provided a decent representation of this traditional Singaporean delight.
The restaurant's self-service setup added to the casual and cozy atmosphere. Overall, Singapore Hawker is definitely worth a visit if you are in Coquitlam. Enjoy the Asian culinary while you are here!

The presentation of this Singaporean Laksa with mixed vegetables was good. The soup was perfectly warm, just the taste of the vegetables didn’t quite meet my expectations - the carrots (and I think it’s green cabbage?) could be cooked for a little bit longer. The staff members were great; they were welcoming and friendly. The painted walls were pretty cool to see, and the system they provided was quite interesting. It almost seemed like I was in a food court and an open-kitchen restaurant at the same time. A cool design.

We’re at @singaporehawker in Coquitlam. My son has Lasa - I tasted a little, it’s closer to the real one back in Singapore. The chicken rice is totally a failure - the chicken skin is so yellow, it looks fake. The taste is just steam chicken, nothing authentic. The rice is closer to what’s back home.
Last, the Rendang is so sweet that you would imagine it’s sugar that’s all they put. Sorry, won’t cut the deal to be termed Singaporean food. It’s run by Hong Kongers… who probably like Singaporean foods. There’s none that’s opened by Singaporean, very disappointing. #cheatcanadian
And we were sitting next to mainland Chinese who made so much noises when they eat is just disturbing.

I can now understand the really good reviews of this little clean friendly place to get decent Singaporean food. Went here for a quick lunch after kayaking at Buntzen and found good street parking around 1:00 pm on a Thursday. Ordered their popular dishes of roti canai, deep fried squid and 3 small satay skewers (1 chicken, 2 beef). Everything was delicious and the sauces that accompanied the dishes were excellent. Good portions and I left full and satisfied. I will definitely return and try the other dishes!
