First chicken rice I had in Singapore and it was hitting but later on I learned that it gets a lot better at other spots

Genuinely almost killed me. Asked them whether or not their dish had any sesame in it, three people confirmed to me that there was no sesame. Next thing I know I’m having an anaphylactic reaction. Returned back to the kitchen to ask what the issue would have been and they told me it would have been sesame??? Not apologetic in the slightest either. Disgrace.

~14 eur for 3 portions of chicken soup + chicken and rice.
Good tasty food as well.
Later edit: we returned twice since then and they never failed to deliver.
I rated the atmosphere 5 because I liked how busy the area is.
They serve fast so don’t be scares by a long queue :D.

First time ever got served cold chicken rice and vegetables and it wasn’t suppose to be cold? Quality and portion of the chicken is bad also. Went to give them a feed back and then they roll eyes at me. The audacity. Do not recommend this place, but if you want to ruin your appetite with such customer service and food quality then go for it. Only good about my lunch was the soup And it was 8 dollars. I’ve tasted better chicken rice at half the price. 1/5 rating.

Delicious chicken rice in Lao Pa Sat. Rice was fragrant, as implied in their stall name. The roasted chicken was done quite well as it’s not dry and the skin had a nice roasted crisp to it. Ordered the meal with chicken liver for that added texture and additional layer of flavor to the whole dish.
Enjoyed the roasted and steamed rice combo and the large veggie all for $12. The vegetable was delicious. The chicken was good however very little of the roasted one. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Worth the stop among so many choices

Chicken rice was pretty good but not the most flavourful, the Laksa had a bit of a funky flavour which might be more authentic but I wasn't too into

🐣🐥🐤🐔🍗🍜 This place has the Best Chicken Laksa I've had in Singapore. 🐣🐥🐤🐔🍗🍜
I will soon move overseas, and so I will be missing the comfort of the frequent meals I've been indulging here.
Fragrance Garden Chicken Rice is, in my opinion, one of those special places that simply prepares the food well in every detail.
The laksa is my favorite. It comes in a big bowl of warming savory coconut broth that complements the silky noodles. I recommend you add a dollop of their rich red sambal(?) paste, which adds that spicy heat and sweet subtle flavors.
I always make a special order of the chicken laksa with chopped steamed chicken drumstick + roast chicken drumstick + vegetable greens + chicken innards. It is large enough for 2 people, but I find it easy to eat it all.
Both roasted and steamed chicken are cooked tender, plump with flavor. The taste, texture, and doneness are exactly right throughout, from skin to meat to even the savory gristle around the joints (which I gnaw down to the bone).
The chicken innards are tasty as well. The liver is always cooked to just that paté-smooth doneness. The gizzards' chew and the hearts' tenderness are also spot on. I do enjoy them swimming in laksa broth, but the plate of innards with a dash of each of red, yellow, brown sauces is a treat on its own.
Fragrance Garden Chicken Rice separates itself from the common chicken stall in doing each part of the meal consistently right. The rice, the fried chicken with sweet lemon sauce, the broth, are all very good. This has been one of my favorite Singapore hawker stalls. I highly recommend the chicken laksa!
