I will start with when I arrived at 4pm (my checkin was 2pm) I then had to sit with my case out in the sun for a further hour and wait for my room to be ready. I was greeted with we don’t speak English, and that was true having to ask for water through translate. Why is it advertised for brits to go when they can’t understand our language. On entering the room the door wouldn’t fully open so if u retired large cases or a pram you won’t get in with them due to a wardrobe being at the door, surely this is a health hazard. The room was absolutely vile and that is me putting it politely. The floor was about 10 to 15 years old and disgusting. The mattress on the double bed was mouldy which made me do the bed bug test as I had already been in Gumbet for 5 days and day one in that room I was covered in bites which I had never seen before. I took pictures for authority however I will not post these here of beg bugs as if is absolutely horrifying. The bathroom you shower on the same floor as the toilet Infact if you aren’t small built you are showering with the toilet. In the 10years I have been going to Gumbet and several times each year this is by far my worse stay. This needs closed down or refurbished badly

Amazing family friendly destination, great room service with friendly staff.

It was good but there was not a fridge and we gave them our coolers ice and asked them if they can freeze them so we can use them and they gave us back cold water in ice bottles.
