Amazing place to visit - very enchanting! Disappointed that the cafe was closing at 4pm, infact, a number of people were, when we visited last Thursday.

Stunning, waterfalls and a beautiful ruined castle, a really amazing walk for all ages in an ancient mystical realm. The smell of wild garlic & rich woodland, just watch out for Welsh warrior:)

First time visiting the park. The park is well maintained and litter free.
There are some very nice walks up to the castle ruins. It is very scenic walking through the tree's along the paths above the river. It is a great place to enjoy a few hours of peace.
There is a play area for children to enjoy after their walk. There is also a cafe on the the site as well as public toilets. It can get a little busy at various times, but it is there for everyone to enjoy.
I will definitely be going there again.

Lovely park a bit slippy underfoot but we have had a lot of rain only downside is we were in our camper which was too tall for the height barrier so we had to park a bit away down the street.

A big park with lots of walking trails both on track and of onto muddy trails.when you leave your car in the very large car park you can hear straight away the sound of the water.
Right next to the car park is the kids play are and further on is the cafe.
Several trails lead into the country park and then 3-4 hours has passed before you know it.
A couple of water falls and plenty of water banjs for your dog to have a dip and play and the kids also so take a pair of wellies for the kids and a towel for the dog.
Stick to the main path you are fine but if you plan on going of the main track like i always do have decent sturdy footwear ready to get muddy and wet and the mud is sticky and you will slide on the hilly bits.
Cafe available untill around 3.30pm there are toilets etc.

Love visiting here with and without the children. It's a nice walk through the trees following the stream to the castle with a waterfall along the way. Can go into part of the castle and climb to the top, although not wheelchair accessible as there's metal stairs to climb to get to the castle grounds

The grounds also have a visitor centre with seating and a small shop/cafe and toilets. There's also a separate toilet block just further down near the fields.

For children there is a big play area suitable for all ages, a skate park, and football pitches on the field. Parking is free in a fairly decent sized carpark although it does get busy during the summer

For anyone that fishes too there is a pond which is closed off for everyone that fishers can book to go to

Overall alot to do in one place
