It looms like a ghost shopping area from the Communist period. Most shops in the 1st and second floor are abandoned while the top floor that used to be the restaurants area is completely deserted

You like McDonald’s and H&M? You’ll love it. If those aren’t your jams….i doubt you’ll be very stimulated.

This shopping 🛍 mall is only operating from ground floor and the H & M section. A lot of the shops are vacant and seems like vert poorly managed! Need some investment to bring the mall back to life as the location is brilliant and very centrally located with all public transport connections

Unirea Shopping Center is exceptional! It offers a diverse range of stores, fantastic dining options, and a vibrant atmosphere. The mall is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, making every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend for a top-notch shopping experience. Five stars!

Surprising, delighted and yet somewhat disappointed... This is basically an American Mall...with American prices in a location where the locals earn much below the American wallet...that was the disappointing part. In fact we can find cheaper but designer brands in America at certain stores that don't yet exist in Romania. (Marshalls, TJ Max...) 4 stars, not 5 because it caters more to foreigners than locals in terms of value.

Nearly half of the shops are closed, which is inevitable in the age of e-commerce. This shopping centre seems to have taken on the position of an athlete who used to be active in the past.

It is with a heavy heart that I must share my recent experience at Unirea Shopping Centre in Bucharest. Once a bustling hub of commerce and dining, the centre has seen a significant number of store and restaurant closures that have left it feeling like a shadow of its former self.

The once vibrant corridors, filled with the enticing aromas of various cuisines and the latest fashion trends, now echo with the silence of shuttered storefronts. The closure of these establishments not only diminishes the shopping experience but also impacts the community that once thrived here.

As I walked through the nearly deserted floors, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of disappointment. The centre, which used to be a go-to destination for both locals and tourists, now struggles to attract the crowds it once did. The absence of popular stores and eateries has taken away much of the charm and convenience that made Unirea Shopping Centre a beloved landmark.

It’s disheartening to witness such a decline, and I can only hope that in time, new life will be breathed into this space, bringing back the energy and vitality it once radiated. Until then, I find myself reminiscing about the better days of Unirea Shopping Centre and longing for its revival.
