Keyah Enterprises
Be careful. They are like scam. They did not provide proper information on the ‘street easy’ about how they work on the monthly rent and increased in actual lease. What happened was that they advertised $3500 on street easy but said it is originally $3650 but you will get a credit by signing up ACH transfer but will be charged $3650 if your check bounces back plus penalty ($25). I told them they should have mentioned - 'Monthly rent is $3650 with earning credit $150/month by singing up the direct payment' to make it clear. The agent said he has been doing it for 11 years and they have mentioned that in their own website but he said ‘we are not always able to adjust descriptions’ - which means they are not doing their job properly and still confident.
They work as exclusive broker for Sackman Enterprises, which is property management company but noticed the agent for Keyah enterprises and the owner of Sackman Enterprises have same last names so I am assuming Keyah Enterprises are likely same company, charging extra money. For example, I requested to clarify some wording in the lease however, some part remained unanswered.
The agent who brought me to showing. She is lovely and nice but she didn’t know whether current tenant were actually in the apartment. She knocked the door several times without responding so opened up few minutes later. It was huge reg flag for me.
I decided to turn down to sign the lease based on the above. It is so hard to find the good brokers or management company. Be careful wordings in the lease, they opened up so many chances to take the extra money out of the lease from the tenants. I can’t work someone who I can’t trust. One of the previous tenants described Sackman as ‘hungry money shark’ - which i think can’t explain better based on couple days of experience.
