On our way out to Victoria decided to get a head start on our vacation. Room was fantastic with a view on the runways. Food upstairs in club room was delicious. Thought it would be noisy but I can hear more from the airport from my house in calgary than having the airplanes outside my window in the hotel. Only drawback was the bathroom with the glassdoor. When someone went to the bathroom it lit up the room too. Other than that. A very peaceful and relaxing night. Fantastic

The hotel is very clean. Room was exceptional. Walk in shower was a delightful change from typical standard rooms. My room was on the third floor and the only negative if you would like to call it that is the view of the airport. But that might be a negative or not if you do not mind looking at the planes at night. Staff were very professional and helpful. I was attending because of a business event at the hotel for the weekend June 24th The staff that set up the conference rooms were amazing. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Since the hotel is connected to the airport you can choose theYakima restaurant or other places in the concourse or you have the typical franchises that you can utilize. Such as Subway, A&W, 7 Eleven. Very good location. I have been told to get to downtown Calgary by transit is approximately half and hour, so it is not too far from the city. My busy schedule prevented me from going downtown, maybe next time. Wi fi is complimentary just ask the front desk for the code.

P.S.
It took a very long time for me to decide whether to include this but my stay was great except for one incident. The security of the hotel provided the only negative incident. Myself along with my colleagues were sitting in the lobby after the conclusiion of our gala. Still in our suits and gowns and we were approach by the head of security as he referred to himself and were treated very ignorantly by him. We understand that the hotel is the perfect location for squatters who are not registered with the hotel especially because of the restaurant and proximity to the airport. But there is a better way to approach the situation. This incident cause my colleagues some distress at the end of our great weekend. This was also compounded by the fact we witness this same individual approached other people in a more professional manner. Special appreciation goes to Gagan for addressing the situation. Gagan and Saaf( If I remember correctly) were very helpful throughout the weekend.

I stay at the Marriott Airport hotel every time I travel to Calgary for work as it is near my office there. The staff at the hotel are always incredibly helpful and friendly! The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant at the hotel is also very delicious. If the area near the airport is where you need to stay while in Calgary I highly recommend staying here!
