What a great place

Fin anläggning med gott om plats byggd för framtiden

OK, public skaters in Kortedala have had to wait way too long for this ice rink. But the building is very beautiful, and the ice itself is excellent! A real skating pleasure.
Open, and accessible to public skaters -- this public rink is now a 5-star experience that really improves the neighbourhood.
Extremely bad planning and NO balanced ice-time use for those of us who are public skaters. How can we plan for our own skating activities -- perhaps meet up with a few friends on the ice -- when we can only see one week's schedule at a time.
And even that skimpy amount of allotted ice time can disappear randomly at a moments notice. For hockey and figure-skating teams.
Of course we love "föreningar" as much as anyone, but why should they get all the ice time -- while we are left holding our skates and hoping for next year? Then the year after that!
Our city planners are obviously self-satisfied with this easy-way-out, but it is simplistic and unimaginative -- very discouraging to a public-skating culture in Göteborg, and public skaters, generally.
We've been checking regularly for news and ANY information about opening hours since our local ice time disappeared. Public skating at Isdala was completely removed more than TWO years ago.
That adds up to so many disappointed kids and adults, many who had just started learning to skate -- became discouraged -- and will never skate again.
Please post a regular public-skating schedule for Kviberg that we can count on!

Den finaste anläggningen i stan just nu.
Väldigt bra arena! Dubbla hallar för ex innebandy och basket. Sedan även en stor ishall för hockey eller konståkning. Stort luftigt, bra läktare. Även gott om parkeringar. Kan inte bli annat än full pott.!
