Loved the pizza here. Massive restaurant with a lot of seating.

Risky...?
We had a pretty bad experience here.

Everything was good up until the food was delivered.
First they delivered the food to five out of six in our party - "Bon appetitt!"
5 minutes later they come out with the wrong order for the one who didn't get their food.
We asked to get the correct order, but that they'd bring out an extra plate so we could share the food while the new pizza was being made.

Just bringing this plate took at least 7 minutes.

Then when the plate arrived we asked for a couple more drinks - waited and waited, the food we originally ordered came.

And we waited and waited for the drinks...

Called over the waitress and apparently she hadn't recieved our drinks order, so after a while longer we got our drinks, way after we had finished the food.

Then after another 5 minutes they came with the same drinks order again for our table, as if it had been double ordered.

After all that chaos and waiting - no hint of compensation, no apologies - just pay and go.

Food was decent though.

Very friendly staff and good tasting pizza (I mean if you are not a pizza connoisseur ;)). The place is located in a beautiful area of Freiburg and the terrace is quite nice and spacious. Due to the location, the pizza is a bit pricey for your average happy food pizza.

Maybe the setting is the best part of Tialini. The service and food are a different matter. Not bad, but not really great either. I think they're trying to keep costs down by having fewer than necessary wait staff, so it can take awhile to both order and get your drink or meal. There was a hiccup in the pizza we'd ordered (it came with anchovies when clearly the menu did not list any fish!) but the cook himself quickly righted that. But it was a pleasant enough experience and I suppose I would return, but maybe not for a meal. A little expensive too, but that's 'big city' for you.

This is a Lovely pizzeria in Freiburg. The place is pretty huge with indoor and outdoor seating. The service did take a bit of time but with no compromises to the food. The prices are a bit above average but it's worth giving this place a shot. The staff is very cooperative and it's fun talking to them

Gorgeous little Italy right in the middle of the city! Absolutely recommend stopping by and get a warm welcome from all of the servers, and the food is also fantastic! Also the bartender Finn was so super friendly , & got my drinks perfectly on time! 😋

One of the best Italian restaurants in town. The food is perfect. The staff are friendly and can speak multiple languages. Most of them are young youth. I just love the atmosphere and specially the outdoor sitting area. In summer days it’s a perfect place to hangout right in the middle of the old city streets. Where you can enjoy the beauty around you, mixing the old and modern cultures with just the right pizza or pasta in front of you along with your favorite drink.
Totally worth the experience 👌🏻
