هتل توکیو بی مایهاما First Resort

Found this hotel on Expedia when looking for a place to stay when visiting Tokyo Disney Resort and this hotel is one of six official hotels in the resort. Room was nice and Disney-themed; Alice in Wonderland--pleasant but not tacky. Had a great view of Tokyo Bay from our room window. There was a nice little Disney store in the hotel. Hotel staff were very helpful, especially with getting us limosine-bus service to the airport when I wasn't able to book it online as I was supposed to. One breakfast was included in my booking; good variety of buffet options available and we had a really good Japanese breakfast there. Very glad we stayed here.

The room is extremely hot. The thermostat is only a knob that says low, medium, and high. The vents blow hot (~85°F or ~30°C) dry air all night and you will not be able to sleep. I have never had to open the window at a hotel until now. Even the air purifier shuts off permanently after a while. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to in my life. Yes, it's cheap, but do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for a room at the Hilton tokyo bay instead. First Resort isn't even a good value because I would rather stay at a toyoko inn or sotetsu fresa. They are cheaper and have modern amenities such as....an air conditioner. It isn't even very close to the monorail station. The most bizarre hotel experience I have ever had in Japan or the USA. Am I in a Disney hotel or gone out camping in the summer?

For what we paid, this hotel was excellent. Highly recommend upgrading to their themed rooms for a few extra dollars.

They have shuttle service to JR Maihama station and Disneyland running every 6-8 minutes from 7 am to 10:50pm when we stayed and another service going to Bayfront station every 5-8 minutes.

Room was well equiped with necessities and the connectivity of it to the Disney parks was exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan to go to Disney parks.
