It was amazing to get to know more about Yugoslavia history.
The grounds were very pretty and well kept.
There are many artifacts of the time period kept for all to see.
Plus the cost to get in was 600 RSD....very affordable and reasonable.

A "flowery" mausoleum. In the southern suburbs of Belgrade stands the House of Flowers, the mausoleum of Josip Broz Tito. In 1975, architect Stjepan Kralj designed this winter garden called Cvećara ("Flower Shop") as a kind of country retreat for Marshal Tito. The building, equipped with work and rest rooms, was located near the official residence of the Yugoslav president, Tito often stayed here. According to his wishes, Tito was buried here on May 8, 1980; his grave is sealed with a 9-ton white marble block. Because of the many flowers that surrounded the grave until the collapse of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the mausoleum was nicknamed the "House of Flowers".

A memorial park with a small exhibition displays photos of Tito's funeral ceremony and the Serbian's people were mourning for their leader. these photos were beautiful and touching)

Great museum with detailed history of the last 100 years of what was Yugoslavia. Great history of the life of Marshal Tito and his final resting place. Beautifully maintained grounds. Good coffee shop . A must see in Belgrade.

If you have a guide they can tell you so much about the house of flowers. It's the original home of Tito and was constructed considering it becoming museum, therefore the layout is very well done and exhibit pieces are quality

Gorgeous place, Tito's resting place, museum of yugoslavian life, Tito's life and his perfectly preserved items and gifts... nostalgia from our 70's and 80's, cant miss this

Beautiful, very emotional and interesting to see. it‘s definitely worth a visit. A beautiful memorial to Drug Tito, former Yugoslavia and to all the proud Jugosloveni who were fighting for a better world and future.
