I wonder why they called it Kandle Cafe. But that’s not relevant. What’s important is how the place has a nice interior and spacious enough, good for individuals, couples, or group of friends. We weren’t able to try their coffee but the tea and shake we had were good.
I’m a big lover of Kandle Cafe in QC, but it’s my first time to try this Estancia branch and wanted to see how it fares in comparison to the QC one.
Starting with my table reservation, both of them are reachable via phone so I was able to easily book a table with request to be near a socket. They delivered, but unfortunately that day, the floor sockets were not working due to a shop flooding. But they gave me the best available seat with working socket (even offered if we want to use a different table, they will just put an extension wire to reach that table!) 💯
Also, I liked the table and chairs view for solemnly reading a book!
In terms of meal, ordered the Pork Tonkatsu which I think is a bit better than the one I had in QC because the Estancia one was juicier. However, what lacked was the choice and quality of cakes and pastries. Not much cakes available and my friend who ordered strawberry leche didn’t like it as much since it doesn’t seem freshly-made, icing seems tough due to the extended freezing.
Anyway, I think the service is alright. It can be improved pa in comparison to QC because the QC staff were always refilling water and asking the customers if the service is alright and what else they can do — which I liked better!
Lastly, its hard to book angkas to leave but I think Estancia in general is like this :(

Had my birthday here last February 3 (Saturday), using their 2nd floor which is reserved for #MomentsatKandle. It was an absolutely perfect event. From the reservation, menu planning, to the night itself, the Kandle staff were extremely efficient, attentive, and capable of handling all our event requests. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and was excellently prepared; I was very impressed considering we were a large group. The taste was of course delicious. The venue was also set up exactly how we wanted. The staff were pro-active and initiate-takers in making sure everything was executed smoothly. Thank you so much Kandle for your perfect service! Will definitely recommend Kandle Cafe Estancia for anyone looking to have a special event.
