This was hands down THE worst meal I’ve had in years. As soon as we walked in we could smell grease from a chip pan. Ordered Greek salad to start. There was a half inch of water in the bottom of the bowl. Tomatoes were mushy. Then for my main the fillet steak which came looking like a Wetherspoons special. Cheap chips (not the homemade ones people have shown in their pictures) and crappy onion rings which I didn’t expect, want or eat! The wife got spinach and feta filo pastry’s which were awful. They tasted of Oregano and nothing else. Also a dollop of boiled rice with Red Leicester on top. Hilarious if it hadn’t cost me £55. I have no words for how awful this meal was in relation to its price it really was like a bad Wetherspoons meal.

Food is way over priced for the standard!
Meatballs tasted like they were out of a tin , my beer was flat and the chips weren't even cooked properly, you can get better quality from the takeaways along the road 100%!

Wonderful little gem hidden away amongst the bustle of smithdown road.
Popped in with my niece for dinner and had a Wonderful meal.
Spicy wings, Hummus, calamari, battered cod and salmon.
The homemade chips were stunning and the fish tender.
Very good price as well

An friend and I went to this restaurant for a meal after a meeting. I'd fancies a Greek meal for months, this was to be the occasion. We arrived around 16:30, had a Delicious meal with a beer each! I had meatballs with chips and rice, even the chips were delicious! My friend had the stew, Stadia I think it was called. I tasted it, the meat fell apart, so tender. We had a great chat and coffees over the next few hours & left 21:30.

The food is excellent! The staff are so lovely!! And the restaurant - which used to be in town: Leece or Hardman St - is really really nice. I will be going back to try other meals, Lamp shank sounds excellent!

I dropped in on spec with my son and daughter for dinner and got invited to a table by a super friendly waitress. The atmosphere was lovely, nicely decorated, low background music so that we could talk comfortably. The food was very tasty, served in generous portions. I had falafels which were beautifully crispy on the outside and the chips were very nice served with salad with a rich dressing.

My wife and I have 2 Greek Restaurants, which we love, for different reasons, but the Greek Taverna surpassed them both.
Same friendly atmosphere that Greeks are known for, but the food is out of this world. Try it

The service here is fantastic, the food is even better. It was quite empty when I went which is a shame because they deserve to be packed out.
