“The Beylerbeyi Palace is a hidden gem in Istanbul, filled with fascinating relics and historical treasures from the era of Sultan Abdulhamid II. The intricate details and well-preserved artifacts offer a unique glimpse into the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire. It’s truly a must-visit for anyone interested in history and architecture!”

This is perhaps a less visited palace, but I would recommend it because it has beautiful architecture and also the garden is lovely and you can sit outside right next to the water and the bridge! It's 350 TL for visitors who are foreigners. I would recommend going earlier in the morning to skip the queue to get in.
One of the finest Ottoman palaces in Istanbul on the Asian side.

You can buy tickets at the entrance, and the price is cheaper compared to some of the palaces on the European side.

Upon entrance, there is a garden, the you walk adjacent to the sea to get to the palace front.

Upon entering the palace, you will have to wear plastic bags on your shoes, and taking photos is disallowed inside. The palace spans across two floors.

Upon exit, there is a restroom and a gift shop. Worth spending 1-2 hours here.

You don't need a ticket to enter the courtyard! The ticket is for entering the palace. You aren't allowed to take pictures inside the palace. The staff is rude.
Usually residence permit holders pay the local ticket price but they charged me a foreigner's ticket price. I am not a tourist and i earn lira so it was unfair to charge us a tourist fee and they were unwelcoming and unpleasant

This is the beautiful palace. Unique architecture and very decorated inside. I wish I could take a photo of the inside part and put it here. But it is not allowed to take photos inside. It is so beautiful inside.

Super pretty and I think better than the Dolbamaçe palace. Entrance was around $10 and included audio guide.

They had snacks available to eat in the garden.

I really wish they would let us take pictures inside the palace because it is a beautiful place I would like to share with my family back home.

During our weekend trip to Turkey, we had the pleasure of visiting the Beylerbeyi Palace, and it was nothing short of magical. Despite it being a busy weekend, we were pleasantly surprised that the queue to enter was only about 10 minutes long. A handy tip for future visitors: the Museum Card is accepted here, which makes entry both convenient and cost-effective.

The palace itself is a marvel of architecture and history, beautifully preserved and presented. Every room and corridor tells a story, transporting you back to the era of sultans and grandeur. The attention to detail in the design and decorations is astounding, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Turkey.

Situated near the sea, Beylerbeyi Palace offers breathtaking views that are a treat for the eyes. The palace's location allows visitors to enjoy the serene beauty of the waterside, adding a tranquil backdrop to the opulent architecture. It's a great spot for photography enthusiasts or anyone looking to capture a piece of Istanbul's historical beauty.

In summary, our visit to Beylerbeyi Palace was an unforgettable experience. The combination of great architecture, rich history, and stunning sea views makes it a must-visit destination. Whether you're a history buff, architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for a beautiful place to explore, Beylerbeyi Palace will not disappoint. Highly recommended!
